DATA & METHODOLOGY

How we know what we know.

PRISM is only useful if institutions can defend the numbers it produces. This page documents our ingestion, labeling, and accuracy claims — in the same detail your compliance team is going to ask for anyway.

THE PIPELINE

Four stages, published latencies at each.

01

Ingest

Full-node reads on every supported chain, replicated across three regions. Reorg-aware, with confirmation depth tuned per chain.

02

Normalize

Every transfer, swap, and position is decoded against a maintained ABI registry and mapped into one unified schema.

03

Label

Entities are attributed through heuristics, on-chain governance disclosures, and a reviewed manual registry — each label carries a confidence score.

04

Serve

Sub-2s streaming for hot data, 15-min batched rollups for historical. Every query returns the exact block range it was computed from.

ENTITY LABELING

Three sources, one confidence score.

Every label carries a numeric confidence and a source of record. Analysts can filter to a minimum threshold; enterprise customers can pin their own registry on top of ours.

Heuristic clustering

Common-input, change-address, and gas-refund heuristics with published false-positive rates, refreshed nightly.

Registered disclosures

Custodians, exchanges, and market makers self-register wallets under signed attestations we verify on-chain.

Manual review

A dedicated analyst pod reviews every high-impact label before promotion, with a full change log per entity.

CHAINS SUPPORTED

24 chains at parity. 100+ more in read-only.

Parity chains have full schema coverage — transfers, swaps, positions, and labels. Read-only chains have raw transaction access with normalized transfers.

SECURITY POSTURE

Read-only, non-custodial, by design.

PRISM never takes custody of funds and never asks for a signing key or seed phrase. Everything we do reads from public chains; wallet connections request read-only address permissions only. Workspaces support SSO, audit logs, and scoped API keys on Studio and above.
